Bounce rate is very important for SEO. A bounce rate occurs when anyone visits your website and leaves a page or a site without visiting any other pages before a specified session-timeout occurs. This is very important that what your bounce rate is. A bounce rate under 20% is considered excellent, although often difficult to achieve. Generally, try to aim for a bounce rate of between 21% and 35%, over 35% is cause for concern, 50% (above) is worrying.
So, it is important to use good content with rich keywordsin your websites. Ensure your site has good, easy-to-use navigation which leads from one page to another, clearly shows what else your site has to offer and keeps visitors clicking. High bounce rate means the site must be horrible to site visitors and most likely they would never return again. Visitors are not even interested to check other content of the site. First impression counts. Once you know the average length of time each visitor spends looking at your site, you will be able to introduce new features and fresh content and then track how this affects visitor behavior. Hopefully visitors will stay longer and come back for more.
