Website is a collection of web pages. A person who designs the web pages is called a web designer. The creative process of designing pages when displayed on Internet as a website is called website designing.

Website designing is the skill of designing hypertext presentations of content that is delivered to the user through the World Wide Web, through a Web browser.

Website designing is so multidisciplinary, it is often appropriate to pull ideas and theories from related fields. The knowledge of HTML, CSS, Flash and Photoshop is necessary for a web designer.

However website designing is critical because it sells the potential of the internet site it represents. Therefore, before implementing any website design it is important to keep in mind who you are trying to entertain with your site.
